First time I heard MichiGo by G-Dragon, I was like "damn this ones too good". He got something so irresistible, the bass drops are beautifully packed with his korean rap style. This song introduces dubstep well to KPOP revolutionary breakouts, even though I also figured out that a lot of KPOP artists used dub as much as this song to make their hits.
I wonder, no one could ever resist electronic touch to their favorite KPOP hits, usually anthems and danceable songs. Most of all use a high dose of bass and it becomes a culture that the world loves EDM too, though they never know that the song they're addicted with is a branch of EDM. So the conclusion is that KPOP is also a sub-genre EDM, mostly dance songs.
I Got A Boy by SNSD (Girls' Generation) is a banger for me, it has a powerful beat and the bravest transition between 140 bpm and the lower one. KPOP brings a new generation that citizens of the world know as a new culture, yet the ancestor is my beloved electronic music with its sub-genres. SNSD has a really good list of upbeat songs you will listen like forever.
Here are some songs I now listen on repeat, most of them are EDM sub-genres, the rest is pop:
1. Like This by Wonder Girls
2. Wolf by EXO
3. Ma Boy by Sistar
4. You and I by IU
5. Fantastic Baby by Big Bang
